Guidelines for Seawall Adaptation have been developed through the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage Coastal Processes and Responses Node. ‘These guidelines provide information to help decision makers using a risk-based approach to optimise upgrades for existing structures and to design for staged construction of new seawalls that are resilient and adaptive to changing conditions’.
SCCG developed a Groundwater Management Handbook – A Guide for Local Government in September 2006.
In 2016, the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF) published the Final Report ‘ A Local Government Framework for Coastal Risk Assessment in Australia’.
The NSW EPA has released the ‘Risk-based Framework for Considering Waterway Health Outcomes in Strategic Land-use Planning Decisions’.
The Coastal Management Guide has been developed by the Water Reserach Laboratory, UNSW, as a Teacher resource for high school years 7-10.
